Our story

Local travel, done right.

Tripskar connects travellers with the families, fishermen, guides and hosts who actually live coastal Karnataka — so every trip puts money back into the community.

Mission

Why we built Tripskar

Coastal Karnataka — from Karwar down to Mangalore — is one of India's last underrated stretches of coastline. Empty beaches, sacred temples, dense rainforests, and a food culture that hasn't been chain-restaurant-ed yet.

But finding a trustworthy guide for the Sharavathi backwaters, or knowing the real darshan timings at Mahabaleshwara temple, used to mean WhatsApping strangers and hoping for the best.

We built Tripskar so you can book those experiences in 60 seconds — with verified hosts, transparent prices, free cancellation, and 24×7 support that picks up the phone.

What we believe

Three principles that shape every experience listed on Tripskar.

Local hosts, not middlemen

Every guide, boatman and homestay owner is paid directly. We take a small platform fee — never a hidden margin.

Tourism that sustains

Group sizes are capped, plastic-free experiences are prioritized, and a portion of every booking funds beach-clean drives.

Real human support

From the first WhatsApp ping to the post-trip follow up — actual humans, not bots, on call 24×7.

Tripskar in numbers

Quietly building since 2022.
