Sharavathi River Sunset Cruise

4.7 (187 reviews) 2 Hours 1–8 guests Honnavar Jetty
Free 24h cancellation Family friendly Snacks & chai included

About this experience

Step onto a hand-painted wooden boat at Honnavar jetty an hour before sunset. As the sun begins to drop, your captain will steer you out from the dock and along the broad channels where the Sharavathi meets the Arabian Sea — past mangrove islands, fishing villages and cormorant roosts.

You'll cut the engine for the final 20 minutes and just drift, while we pour fresh ginger chai and pass round local snacks. On a clear evening you may spot Indo-Pacific dolphins surfacing offshore.
