About this experience
An easy-paced 3 km round-trip forest trek to two of South India's strangest geological wonders — the towering Bhairaveshwara Shikhara (390 ft) and Mohini Shikhara (300 ft) karst limestone monoliths, hidden in dense Sahyadri rainforest.
Your guide will share the geology, the local Bhairava legend, and lead you into the small cave shrine at the base of Bhairaveshwara, where a natural spring drips onto a Shiva linga year-round.
